I’ve been obsessed with art for as long as I can remember. A nursery school report, from when I was three, says: “Nicole is a good little girl, very quiet and reserved. She likes playing with plasticine and looking at picture books.”
These days, I play with concrete, styrofoam and paint, and draw cartoons. I still love looking at picture books, but I’m probably not as quiet and reserved any more.
My current project is a book of wooftastic cartoons, starring our rescue pooch, Gizmo, and his furry friends. I started it during the 2020 Covid lockdown—to celebrate the canine universe and make people smile, and it will be published in 2022.
